"In this restorative and imaginative practice, Shannon guides participants through a sensory journey that blends guided imagery with a heightened awareness of the environment around us. Together we will explore the idea of extended circulation—imagining the body’s vascular system not as something contained within us, but as something that can reach outward and connect with the living world.
Participants are invited to rest, sit, or gently move while Shannon narrates an unfolding imagery experience. The journey begins by locating the physical heart and sensing its anatomical circulatory rhythms. From there, we expand our awareness to the subtle electromagnetic waves the heart radiates—using anatomy as a doorway into poetic imagination.
As the practice unfolds, participants are invited to imagine their circulation extending beyond the body, enlivening new pathways of connection. Through this imagery, the waves of the heart become portals that travel into the earth, inviting us to slow our pace and attune to deeper rhythms—the ancient pulse of soil, land, and ancestry.
Rooted in Shannon’s studies of Somatic Movement, Franklin Method, and Integrative Anatomy, this practice weaves anatomical awareness with creative exploration. Mental imagery, gentle movement, and somatic listening combine to create an experience that is both grounding and expansive.
Expect a quiet, meditative space where imagination, body awareness, and the rhythms of the earth meet—offering a moment to reconnect with the heart’s deeper field of presence."
