"Mindfulness meditation is one of the best things you can do for yourself and the world. In this class, we will explore different avenues for being present through seated meditation, walking meditation, as well as self-inquiry practices that gently guide you back to the present moment.
Along the way we will cultivate self-compassion, learning how to meet ourselves with kindness rather than criticism. Mindfulness becomes real in everyday moments, pausing before reacting, feeling your breath when stress arises, noticing when you are lost in worry and returning to the truth of what is actually happening. Simple shifts can bring more ease, steadiness, and clarity, helping you move through your day with less reactivity and more grace.
There will be time to meditate on your own, as well as opportunities to explore in dyads. Embodying mindful presence as you relate can transform relationships, inviting you to listen more deeply, communicate more vulnerably, and feel the nourishment of authentic connection.
If you are curious about the nature of your own being, or simply want to get out of your head and into your body, this class will support you to do so. The present moment is where peace becomes available and the doorway to freedom opens.
No prior meditation experience is necessary. All are welcome."
