Fire In The Belly (Active Class)
Saturday August 1, 2026 8:00am - 9:00am EDT
"In this workshop we’ll  explore the anatomy and physiology of the abdomen to cultivate strength at what the Taoist calls the Hara, the center of our subtle body. A series of Yin and Yang postures will nourish the spine, hips and abdomen as we aid the digestion and circulation of Qi from the center source.
In many Eastern traditions, particularly in Japanese and Qigong teachings, the Hara (located about two inches below the navel) is considered the body’s energy center, often referred to as the ""sea of energy"" or ""elixir field""
Anatomically, this area encompasses the lower abdomen and includes key muscle groups such as the transverse abdominis and pelvic floor, which play vital roles in core stability and movement. Energetically, the Hara is the center of vitality, grounding, and inner power. When we connect to the Hara in yoga, we not only engage our physical core but also tap into a deep source of life force, or chi, fostering balance, strength, and centeredness. This connection allows for more fluid movement, calm mental focus, and a sense of being rooted in the present moment, both on and off the mat."

Flow and Let Go
Saturday August 1, 2026 9:30am - 10:30am EDT
Join Kate for Flow and Let Go! We all sometimes feel stuck and weighed down by things in our lives. We hold onto that energy even when long after we need to. This class is designed to get rid of our unwanted energies. Class starts with flow style movement, warming up the body and then takes us through some deeper, longer holds, allowing the body then to release what we no longer need.
Rooted in the style of vinyasa yoga, linking breath and movement, this class is suitable for all levels. Students can expect the first half of class to be more movement and then the second half of class to be slower.
Kate teaches with a focus on tuning into your own body, both physical and emotional, learning to listen to what you truly need. Her laid-back and authentic approach to teaching creates an inspiring, uplifting, and fun environment.
This class is designed for all levels of asana experience.

Exploring the Power of the Pelvic Diaphragm - A Franklin Method Movement Class
Saturday August 1, 2026 11:00am - 12:00pm EDT
"When we slow down and truly embody the breath, we begin to experience it in a mindful, conscious way—allowing it to move through the body with intention and awareness. This simple shift can unlock powerful physical and emotional benefits.
The Franklin Method is a somatic approach that blends mental imagery, functional anatomy, and movement explorations to deepen body awareness. In this experiential class, we will journey through our inner anatomy to explore the diaphragm, ribcage, sternum, and surrounding organs. Through guided imagery and movement, you will discover how breath can become more spacious, efficient, and supportive.
As awareness of the breath expands, habitual tension patterns can begin to release. Movement often becomes easier, freer, and more fluid, while the nervous system settles into a greater sense of calm and clarity.
Participants will be introduced to the basic anatomy of breathing and invited to imagine and embody how these structures function together. Through simple movement practices and focused attention, we will explore the impact of diaphragmatic breathing on posture, mobility, and overall well-being.
Expect a welcoming and exploratory environment where curiosity is encouraged and subtle shifts can lead to meaningful change. You may leave feeling more grounded, spacious in your breath, and connected to the ease and intelligence already present within your body."

Cultivating Presence, Compassion and Connection: A Mindfulness Meditation Journey
Saturday August 1, 2026 12:30pm - 1:30pm EDT
"Mindfulness meditation is one of the best things you can do for yourself and the world. In this class, we will explore different avenues for being present through seated meditation, walking meditation, as well as self-inquiry practices that gently guide you back to the present moment.
Along the way we will cultivate self-compassion, learning how to meet ourselves with kindness rather than criticism. Mindfulness becomes real in everyday moments, pausing before reacting, feeling your breath when stress arises, noticing when you are lost in worry and returning to the truth of what is actually happening. Simple shifts can bring more ease, steadiness, and clarity, helping you move through your day with less reactivity and more grace.
There will be time to meditate on your own, as well as opportunities to explore in dyads. Embodying mindful presence as you relate can transform relationships, inviting you to listen more deeply, communicate more vulnerably, and feel the nourishment of authentic connection.
If you are curious about the nature of your own being, or simply want to get out of your head and into your body, this class will support you to do so. The present moment is where peace becomes available and the doorway to freedom opens.
No prior meditation experience is necessary. All are welcome."

Align Your Words Like You Align Your Posture/WORKSHOP
Saturday August 1, 2026 12:30pm - 2:00pm EDT
NVC in Action, a workshop designed to bridge the gap between your yoga practice and your relationships.
You stretch your hamstrings. You strengthen your core. But how often do you practice the flexibility of your mind and the strength of your empathy? Why is it so easy to find balance on the mat, but so hard to keep it in our conversations?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is often called the "Yoga of Speech." It helps us navigate conflict without losing our center.
Stop leaving your yoga on the mat. Come learn how to:
·       Untie the Knots: Identify the hidden needs behind your "negative" emotions so you can respond rather than react.
·       Find Your Center in Conflict: Learn to speak your truth clearly without blaming or shaming others.
·       Deepen Your Relational Flow: Transform arguments into opportunities for intimacy and connection.
This isn’t a lecture—it’s a lab. We will roll up our sleeves to practice the art of compassionate speech.
Are you ready to stretch your heart as deep as your hamstrings?

Saturday August 1, 2026 2:00pm - 3:45pm EDT
"This Yoga + Live Music experience is a one-of-a-kind collaboration—an improvised, in-the-moment alchemy between movement and sound.
Adam Brous joins one of OM Festival’s musical performers to co-create a living yoga experience where nothing is pre-planned and everything is responsive. Movement, breath, rhythm, and resonance unfold together in real time, guided by the musicians’ offering and the collective energy of the space.
Adam weaves poetic cueing, somatic flow, meditation, and intuitive movement to match the emotional and energetic landscape of the music—inviting participants to listen deeply, move authentically, and experience yoga as a living conversation with sound.
No two experiences are ever the same. Each collaboration is bespoke, ephemeral, and rooted in presence.
Adam has collaborated with numerous musical artists in yoga and festival settings, including DJ Taz Rashid, Liat and the Sirens, Estrella De Mar, Casino Perosi, M Hecker, and more.
This is not a performance—it’s a shared experience. Come ready to feel, flow, and be moved."

Plant Allies & Sacred Ceremony ⭐ This session is led by a Featured Teacher
Saturday August 1, 2026 3:30pm - 4:30pm EDT
In this ceremony, we will work with the directions, meditation, and energy work. We will introduce you to three plant and mushroom allies that each work with a different Chakra: Kava Kava, Amanita Muscaria, and Blue Lotus.  We will spend a few minutes discussing the properties of each plant while teaching the fundamentals of self-practice Reiki exercises that focus on the Root, Heart, and Third Eye Chakras. We will then offer a sacred ceremony and samples of three different plant/mushroom extracts for the three different Chakras. We will spend time sensing and feeling the shifts in the energy body around for each chakra while being in relationship with these allies.

The Responsive Core: Breath, Pelvic Floor and the Nervous System
Saturday August 1, 2026 3:30pm - 4:30pm EDT
"In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore the core not as something to brace or hold, but as a dynamic, responsive system that moves with your breath, your nervous system and your life. You’ll be guided through pelvic floor imagery, gentle movement, and sensory awareness to rediscover support that feels effortless rather than forced.Together, we’ll unravel common habits of gripping and over-engaging and replace them with coordination and ease. You’ll experience how the diaphragm, pelvic floor, and deep abdominals work in harmony. And how posture, stress, and daily habits can cause tension that can disrupt this natural rhythm. We will release tension using the Franklin Method balls and experience how we can calm the mind and relax the nervous system by using pelvic floor imagery. You’ll experience how by releasing tension, your body can organically find the right amount of postural effort and support. You can bring this new understanding into yoga, everyday movements, and moments of stress in daily life."

Bhakti Flow
Saturday August 1, 2026 3:30pm - 5:00pm EDT
Bhakti yoga is the practice of devotion and offers an opportunity to add depth and dimension to your asana practice. A dynamic Vinyasa flow is the core of this class, inviting students to move with intention and in rhythm with the breath. This soulful style of yoga is rooted in yogic philosophy and wisdom, and infused with mantras and insights on how to expand your yoga practice beyond the mat and into everyday life. Class begins and/or ends with live harmonium music and beautiful kirtan (melodic Sanskrit chanting) to set the tone for an uplifting journey into mind, body, and spirit. Bhakti is a celebration of and surrender to the divine within each and every being. Come with an open mind and heart, and leave feeling revitalized and re-inspired.

Laughter Yoga
Saturday August 1, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Laughter Yoga is a unique kind of mind-body exercise, which combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing. Anyone can laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. Laughter is initially simulated as a physical exercise while maintaining eye contact with others in the group and promoting childlike playfulness. In most cases this soon leads to real and contagious laughter. Science has proven that the body cannot differentiate between simulated and real laughter. Laughter Yoga is the only technique that allows adults to achieve sustained hearty laughter without involving cognitive thought. It bypasses the intellectual systems that normally act as a brake on natural laughter.
Scientifically, it has been proven that twenty minutes of laughter is sufficient to develop full physiological and psychological benefit. Some of the proven health benefits of Laugher Yoga include: Reduced stress levels; Boosting of the immune system; Reduced pain; Elevated mood; Happy brain chemistry; Improved circulation; & Greater feelings of kindness, joy, forgiveness & love.
Laughter Yoga is an easy, fun and super-effective way to release stress while inviting more joy into one’s life. It is appropriate for children of ALL ages and all levels of fitness. No prior experience is necessary. Come see for yourself why there are over 10,000 Laughter Clubs in over 120 countries around the world!

Yin Yoga offers a profound journey into relaxation and rejuvenation. Focused on holding passive poses for extended durations, Yin targets the deep connective tissues. In this workshop, we will focus on the hips and back. This deliberate approach cultivates flexibility, releases tension, and stimulates a profound sense of well-being.
Deep stretches held for an extended period go beyond the superficial muscles, delving into the fascia and ligaments. As the body settles into each shape, the breath becomes a guide, fostering mindfulness and a tranquil connection between mind and body. The sustained postures encourage surrender, inviting practitioners to explore the edges of comfort with patience and acceptance.
The magic of Yin lies in its ability to unlock stored energy and promote the free flow of life force throughout the body. This not only alleviates physical discomfort but also nurtures a serene mental landscape.
Embrace the stillness, invite serenity into your hips and back, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and renewal through the beautiful practice of Yin Yoga.

Kirtan
Saturday August 1, 2026 4:45pm - 5:45pm EDT
"Both rousing and reflective, join this profound experience of call-and-response devotional chant led by kirtan wallah Kristen Ambrosi. Singing in community is an experience of ""communal effervescence"" where heart, voice, and spirit weave together in an incredibly moving and uplifting experience. Allow the sound current to wash over you or join in full voice; all are welcome!
KIRTAN BIO:
Appreciated for her warm presence and moving vocals, Kristen has been invited to lead kirtan at yoga studios, retreats, and home events for over 15 years. This devotional, uplifting practice of bhakti yoga – gathering interfaith groups where all voices blend into one – brings her heart home. Call-and-response mantras, and the silent stillness following the chants, elicit healing vibrational energy and a profound sense of peace. It is an honor for Kristen to guide these experiences of joy and love in community.
Following the screening of the exquisite documentary Mantra: Sounds into Silence in Montclair, NJ, Kristen collaborated with percussionist Arjun Bruggeman and others to lead a sold-out kirtan experience that was enthusiastically received.
Accompanying her respected teacher, Jillian Pransky, for her popular seasonal retreats at Kripalu, Omega, and other venues, Kristen offers live chanting to support students' meditation and restoration. She incorporates a similar live-music mantra experience into her own asana workshops and annual retreats.
Kristen welcomed the opportunity to lead a set of original music at the 2019 Lovelight Festival. She has also been privileged to sing response alongside renowned kirtan leaders such as Dave Stringer, Brenda McMorrow, Mirabai Moon, Johanna Beekman, and Scott Hari Whitmore at BlessFest, Lovelight, Ahimsa, and at Integral Yoga in NYC with her Kirtan College teacher, the late beloved Durga Das David Newman.
Kristen leads teacher training workshops on incorporating chant into classes, offers harmonium and mantra lessons for yoga instructors, and has developed original melodies for her heart-project, an album of devotional chant. "

Restorative Yoga, Reiki & Sound Bath: An Invitation to Receive
In a culture that celebrates doing, this practice offers the medicine of being. Journey inward through sacred rest and energetic renewal.

Settle into fully supported restorative postures and allow yourself to be held in a space of stillness, presence, and care. Reiki energy and healing sounds create a gentle pathway toward balance and restoration. As sound bowls, chimes, and soothing frequencies fill the space, you'll be invited to surrender the weight of the outer world and reconnect with the quiet sanctuary within.

This practice offers a space for release of physical tension, mental fatigue and energetic stagnation, allowing you to emerge feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply renewed.
